Share Market is one of the good way of earning money passively in Nepal. If you want to earn money passively or sitting in home one of the most good idea is to use Share Market.
Let's start the basic terms in Share Market. There is a NEPSE (Nepal Stock Exchange) in Nepal which controls all the share market of Nepal. NEPSE is managed and organized by Nepal Government.
Broker:
To make sell and buy of shares authentically NEPSE provides all rights to the Broker Offices. There are different types of Brokers in Nepal which are highly reputable and are responsible for the authentic trade of shares in Nepal.
Primary Market (IPO) Initial Public Offering:
Firstly if the company is going to establish then it will need capital (total amount) amount. So, to fulfill the capital of the company; the company will request to the NEPSE to collect money. NEPSE will give permission to allow the company to allot share for that company. Such type of share which is issued by company for the first time to collect capital is known is known as IPO(Initial Public Offering).
Let's make clear; Suppose you and your team established "Earnmoney" Company in Nepal. You and your team collect the money for company initially. After that your company wants to grow in large scale in such condition your company will not have enough fund to run your company in large scale. Then, you will need certain sum of money to run the company. In such condition, your company will request for NEPSE to give permission to collect money for your company from the public.
The NEPSE will allow you by observing your objectives, goals of the company to collect sum of money from public. Now, your company will publish shares to the public where the value of 1 share will be of Rs. 100 for the first time.Such type of share is known as IPO (Initial Public Offering) or is also known as Primary Market.
How to apply for IPO (Initial Public Offering):
In Nepal, it's online for applying IPO in Nepal. If you want to apply online.
It's easy. Just visit your bank (Class A, B and C) which is near to you or where you have your own bank account will be fruitful (easy) to you. Ask to apply for DMAT Account.
DMAT Account :
DMAT Account is online account where all the shares you buy will be deposited. This is the special type of account where all the shares will be stored in your DMAT Account virtually and you can see the increased rate and decreased rate of your share value.
For opening DMAT Account it costs just Rs. 150. The charges per year will be according to the respected bank. If you fill up the form for DMAT Account then you will get your DMAT Account within a month/week. So, just Hurry !!! for the DMAT Account.
Secondary Market :
There is the trade of the share after offering IPO. Many investors want to buy the shares and make business of them. Such type of buying and selling of shares after Primary Market is known as Secondary Market. Secondary Market is done through the Brokers. Brokers make the exchange of shares. If you want to buy the share in the secondary market then you have to choose for the broker.
In Nepal, nowadays Online Share selling and buying is done through online. You just have to be a member of Broker for online transaction. This will help you to do trade through online sitting in home.

1. Investing in IPO
You can invest in IPO. Now a days many of the company are growing so many companies are listing their IPO for the public. You can get 1 Share unit (kitta) in just Rs. 100 per share. You should apply minimum of Rs. 1000 (or 10 kitta)
